Senior BJP leader L K Advani was in the city today to attend the funeral of his brother-in-law who passed away due to prostrate cancer.
The funeral of Santu Narayandas Bhavnani, who died last night, took place at Worli, in central Mumbai this morning.
Bhavnani, husband of Advani's only sister Sheela was 84.
He had retired as Chief Engineer of Indian Railways.
Advani's wife Kamala had come to Mumbai on Friday to be with her sister-in-law's family.
